About

I am an artist and computational designer working in immersive and real-time media based in New York and California.

As an artist I create contemplative experiences entwined and in contrast with contemporary digital technology. Working in installation and performance, I craft luminous, dream-like visual environments to embody themes of memory, alienation and obsession.

As a designer and developer I specialize in real-time content for production and installation. I make bespoke media systems for projection mapping, distributed show systems, and interactive visualizations. I occasionally release some of my own TouchDesigner tools as Rouge, a development framework. I have had the pleasure of working with Obscura Digital, Bot & Dolly, [Name The Machine] and other studios for clients such as Bassnectar, Beck, SFMoMA, NASA, Spotify, Google, and the royal family of Abu Dhabi.

    I make real-time and interactive video scenes and graphics, create immersive and building-scale video projection software for events, and teach video performance and computational design. I worked for three years as Senior Interactive Art Engineer at Obscura Digital, where I lead software development and projection mapping for numerous projects, including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Illumination. I have also projection mapped robots for Bot & Dolly, made custom A/V software for Bassnectar with [Name the Machine], and created design prototypes for Samsung’s UX Lab, among other projects.
